Aussie made? You bet ya!!
As the mum of skinny little guy, I totally get the frustrations of buying a pair of pants that are too big around the waist and too small in the leg. They just don't fit!
So when I met Jess and heard about Frankie and Roy I was an instant fan. No longer would my son run with one hand holding up his track pants.
Lucas doesn’t like to wear long pants much now, but when he does he chooses his Frankie and Roy track pants.
He finds them comfy and I love that I am supporting a small business and Australian made. And of course I love that I don't have to see Lucas' ankles all the time!
As a small family owned business, Lucas loves cars believes in supporting and stocking Australian brands and Australian made products.
We were so excited when Jess asked us to share some of our favourites with you.
Like Frankie and Roy, these products aren’t just fabulous because they are made in Australia, they are totally fabulous, and it’s a bonus that we are supporting Australian families with every purchase.
Leroy Mac designs.
OK, Leroy Mac don’t make toys, they make beautiful merino wool blankets and hats. We are so happy to support this farming family from Ballarat, who make beautiful Merino products with the wool from their own sheep.
The beautiful Milton Ashby wooden toys are made in Melbourne and can be personalised to make them the perfect heirloom gift. Presented in a beautiful tin, they are a great option for a first birthday, or a beautiful new baby gift. And what a sweet idea for the third or fourth child to have their name on it and not have to share!
Have a Nice Day ( aka H.A.N.D)
Based in QLD, Have a Nice Day started when a Dad wanted to make simple wooden toys for his kids.
And now he makes simple wooden toys for lots of kids. Simply stunning wooden toys.
Sick of hearing about crayons having nasties in them, the girls at Tinta Crayons decided to make their own natural crayons. Beautiful, fun crayons for toddlers and bigger kids, made with Australian beeswax and tested to have no Nasties.
When you can get beautiful products like these from Australian family businesses, why would you go anywhere else?
Helle owns Lucas loves cars. Working with toys since 2012, she has played with toys for a long time and is very picky about which toys make the list. Like a spoilt child, she will have a tantrum if the toy doesn't work and will play for hours if she finds it engaging and fun. Or until someone tells her it's time for lunch.
